Floral District Birthday

Hey there!  I’ve got a new stash of pretty things from the beautiful new catalogue!  For some reason Lila had her longest nap ever today (an hour and a half), so I got my crafting apron on.  I came up with this simple card using the brand new Floral District DSP.  Isn’t it great?  There are so many different bright patterns.

A recent class used some of these papers and other new items, like dies and the new ink pads.

In other news, our house is seeming a lot more like a home, as we’ve done the majority of our unpacking, and we had a successful housewarming party recently.  There are still a few missing items, but I’m sure they’ll turn up eventually.  My most recent project (aside from making dinner) was a little potted herb garden.  Maybe L will nap enough for some other fun thing to happen soon?  And swimming!  As of now, we hope to get lots of use out of our pool!

About Shauna

I fell in love with the art of rubber stamping when I was 12 years old. I blame my grandparents. I already had every crafty hobby imaginable when they bought me a few stamps, an ink pad, and some embossing powder. I was hooked. From that point on, no special occasion has gone unmarked by one of my hand-crafted creations. Scrapbooking came next, and though it isn't my first love, it's a close second.
