Shimmer and Inks Fabulous Florets Card

IMG_4445

I learned this technique a while back from another demonstrator at a local get-together we had.  I love those because I always learn so much!  I’ve sponged on some ink and then spritzed the oval with the Smooch Spritz in Vanilla Shimmer. It’s such a pretty effect.  The splotchy dot parts are from a stamp I got in one of my Paper Pumpkin kits.

Once again I’ve used the Fabulous Florets set, and am just smitten with the effect. Clean, simple, elegant. And I love love love this colour: Bermuda Bay – brought back from retirement.  I might have to paint my walls this colour.

About Shauna

I fell in love with the art of rubber stamping when I was 12 years old. I blame my grandparents. I already had every crafty hobby imaginable when they bought me a few stamps, an ink pad, and some embossing powder. I was hooked. From that point on, no special occasion has gone unmarked by one of my hand-crafted creations. Scrapbooking came next, and though it isn't my first love, it's a close second.
