Spring Interlude

041

A house on the beach. Yes please!  For now, I settle with visiting my grandparents at their beautiful log house, right at the beach in Parksville.  Nathan and I headed there for Easter times with family.

There were walks.
There was running,
There was playing with puppies,
There was copious eating.

050

We saw beautiful spring flowers in bloom,
Brant flying by,
Blue Herons fishing.

That wee speck of red is “home.”

051

We had our 3-o’clock snacks outside on benches, and then for some crazy reason, we climbed ladders to see if that fear of heights still really existed.

053

It was a great big scoop of paradise.

About Shauna

I fell in love with the art of rubber stamping when I was 12 years old. I blame my grandparents. I already had every crafty hobby imaginable when they bought me a few stamps, an ink pad, and some embossing powder. I was hooked. From that point on, no special occasion has gone unmarked by one of my hand-crafted creations. Scrapbooking came next, and though it isn't my first love, it's a close second.
